COACHES

ATOM BLUE - JOEL KEDDY

This will be my 4th year coaching with the Giants, and my 2nd year as head coach of Atom Blue.  I have always believed in the benefits of team sports for providing children the skills and confidence required to succeed both on and off the field, and was lucky enough to have had some great coaches during my younger years that helped mold me into the person I have become. Coaching allows me to teach the players the importance of hard work, respect and teamwork.

I am a 3rd generation Patriots fan.  I have served in the military for the past 22 years.  My wife Richelle and I moved to Chilliwack 7 years ago with our 2 kids, Kailyn and Landon.  With our son playing, our daughter a cheerleader, my wife the cheer manager and me coaching...we are definitely a Giants family.

ATOM WHITE - COLIN BOYD

I have been a coach with the Chilliwack Giants for 5 years.  I enjoy being a part of young athletes doing great things and enjoying sports.  I truly believe sports skills are life skills.  We have been Seattle Seahawks fans in our family for generations.  For the last 5 years I have enjoyed working with the Chilliwack Giants flag program as well as Atom level tackle.  I have lived in Chilliwack for the last 9 years withmy wife Amber, daughter Mackenzie and son Lincoln.

PEEWEE BLUE - ANDREW ZACHARIAS

JUNIOR BANTAM BLUE - GREG FAWCETT

My name is Greg Fawcett and I am the Head Coach of the JB Blue Giants this season.

I have had the privileged of being a coach with this great organization for the past 8 seasons.  My hope every season is to impart my passion for the game into the  next generation of football players/fans.

Go Giants!

JUNIOR BANTAM RED - SEAN DALLAS

Sean Dallas started football late as an 18 yr old with the Renfrew Trojans ( midget team ) . Provincial championship that yr as a special teams player . The next 2 yrs were at the juvenile division ( defunct now ) . first yr we were division Champions , second yr I was fortunate to make the All star team at cornerback , then onto junior football which I play special teams for one yr and left football until I was 27 .  At 27 I played 2 yrs for me he Bellingham Eagles in a men’s league .  At 27 was also my first yr of coaching in Abbotsford which spurred on a passion to help out youth become better citizens.  Since that time I’ve been blessed to coach all ages from 5-22 with mission 9ners, Chilliwack Huskers ,and the Chilliwack Giants . So far as a coach I’ve only participated in 1 championship but have coached many young men who have gone on to be very successful, with many returning to the game as coaches themselves .

BANTAM - SCOTT WILKINS

I have been coaching with the Giants from 2012 to now.  I first started coaching to spend more time with my son but now it is so much more.  I have created a strong bond with a number of players that have come through our organization and it has been a rewarding experience.

We have had some success through the years with 2 division titles, 45 playoff appearances, 2 Provincial finals, and one provincial win.

I would not trade in coaching these young men and women for nothing in the world, it has made me feel younger and it rejuvenates me every year.

MIDGET - MATT PAISLEY

Matt coached with the Giants during their initial years 1994 through 1998. After taking some time off to start a family he returned in 2008 to re-establish his ties to the association and community.

Matt believes in positive development through active participation. A strong disciplinarian with a good sense of humor, his alternative approach to coaching has resulted in many players sticking within his program since his return in 2008. Last year he was a member of the 2017 Provincial Champion Bantam program with the Giants.

In the offseason Matt is an assistant coach for Team BC during the Border Bowl Championship game.
